International Day of Yoga

21 June is International Day of Yoga. A day to put more emphasis on everyday movements, looking inward, taking on new challenges, and being in the moment.
Practicing yoga is within everyone’s reach, as it requires no physical preparation or material resources. Yoga helps to alleviate both physical and mental health problems. It can also help in cases of stress and depression – which are increasingly taking over the world. Yoga facilitates concentration, coordination, reaction time, as well as memory work. Not to mention that practicing yoga helps you to understand yourself and others better, to be more creative, more content, and more radiant.
Meditation plays a very important role in letting go of your thoughts and being in the moment. Osho has developed active meditations especially for the modern man, who has a stressful busy life, many psychological problems, and emotional tensions. The active part includes physical movement and breathing, it is always followed by a passive silence part. It has been scientifically proven that Osho meditations reduce anxiety, stress, and overthinking and help to relax. Sleep quality is improved and you will shake off tensions in your body and mind. Osho active meditation is great for releasing trapped emotions. Active meditation helps energy flow through the body.
International Day of Yoga Programme:
9:30-10:00 Morning “rise and shine” yoga-based invigoration and stretches to start your best day!
14:00-14:30 Midday welcome – yoga-based stretching
from 15:10 to 16:30 the doors of the meditation room are open for independent meditation
17:00-18:30 Osho Kundalini active meditation with an experienced instructor for resident guests
19:00-20:30 Osho Kundalini active meditation with an experienced instructor for non-resident guests
Participation in the evening meditation is free of charge for resident guests. For non-resident guests, the participation fee is 25 EUR/per person.
Places in both yoga and meditation classes are limited. Please book in advance. We kindly ask you to arrive 10 minutes before the meditation session. If possible choose garments that permit ease of movement.
