Experience the enchanting fusion of Nordic Islands’ Cuisine and the captivating music of Brazilian-Norwegian duo Denise Fontoura (BRA) and Steinar Aadnekvam (NOR)
Join us on this unforgettable concert-dinner, where Nordic Islands’ Cuisine is combined with jazzy Brazilian-Norwegian duo Denise Fontoura and Steinar Aadnekvam. Uniting their musical baggage, the duo will make their debut concert this summer, for the Estonian public. Bringing a refined repertoire, with classics of Brazilian music and their own compositions.
With an unorthodox musical trajectory, Denise Fontoura took her first steps in music through the hip hop group Anastacias, with which she won the Hutuz Music Award, with the song Mulheres Heroinas (Women’s Heroes), a song about black women’s struggle in Brazilian society. She has spread her musical palette through traditional and modern music genres, from Latin music with Songoro Cosongo to trip-hop with Zerodois, samba-soul and much more.
Steinar Aadnekvam is a Norwegian jazz guitarist and composer. He is an accomplished musician who has merged jazz, rock, and Brazilian music, captivating audiences with his passion and live performances. Aadnekvam’s talent has garnered recognition, being nominated for the Young Nordic Guitarist Award in 2009 and reaching the finals of the Norsk JazzIntro in 2010.
The concert is followed by a delightful three-course dinner prepared by Chef de Cuisine Achim Braitsch specially for that evening.
Concert-dinner: 155 EUR per guest; the price includes a welcome drink, the concert and the 3-course dinner.
The evening begins with an aperitif at 17:30, the concert starts at 18:00.
Dinner lasts until 20:30.
